Gotokal Brishti Nemechhilo

Gotokal brishti nemechhilo.
Porishkar bojha jachhe, nemechhilo.
Rasta bheja, baranda bheja
Shnoda gondhe chardik mo' mo'.
Aj jodio chora rod uthechhe
Kintu gotokal brishti nemechhilo.

Aj shudurshomproshari shunil akash dekhe mone hochhe
Konodin kothao brishti hoyni.
Shamne jotodur dakha jay
Digontobistrito alo jholmol.
Hoyto ar konodin brishti nambe na
Kintu gotokal brishti nemechhilo.

Shotyi bolte ki, thik mone porchhe na.
Megh dekechhilo? Jhor uthechhilo?
Bojrobidyut? Gachher patay patay
Brishti porar shobdo shona gechhilo?
Kichchhu mone nei. Shudhu mone porchhe
Gotokal brishti nemechhilo.

Tumi mante na chaileo, nemechhilo.
Chardike takiye dakho.
Rasta bheja, baranda bheja
Balishta porjonto bhije gachhe.
Kisher jol e, ta oboshyo jana hoyni
Kintu gotokal brishti nemechhilo.

Multiple levels?
I presume you are comparing change of emotions/mood with how the weather can change, leaving perhaps only a trace of the past...and a cheerful face full of sunshine can attempt to hide the powerful upheaval of emotions that happened in the recent past...but i have one question, brishti keno nemechhilo?

Ah well......it can definitely be explained like that......but I meant it the other way. As in.....rain for me signifies a pleasant relief from the scorching sun. Or even if it is the "upheaval" caused by a torrential rainfall, it still is more lively than a normal, "sunny" day, which is the present.

But either way, kano nemechhilo bola ektu mushkil. This one is basically a comparison of my last few days in college, and my life at present. One was marked by a immense emotional upheaval, while the other is much more calm, relaxed, and I dare say "cheerful".....

Eta khub chhoto kore bollam. Actually there is more to it, kintu purota ekhane bolte chai na......

read both the comments above.dont want to get into ithe personal level about multiple manings.
as far as imagery is concerned in the poem-beautiful!!!!!!its very delicately detailed...brishti kokhon nemechilo, kothay nemechilo...shundor is the word for the details!
as for the baalish bheja, thats a point of personal poignance, which is quite subtlely included.and i like this subtlety!
